These drivers compel her to parent her daughters and teach her students and inform and empower their parents, as well as support and represent her peers through common union affiliation. Renita desires to continue to represent and inform her community at large by stepping forward as a Bellflower Unified School District (BUSD) Board Member. Renita desires to partner with the rest of the elected leadership to help steer the district toward the future that the mission statement invites us to build.
She believes that by investing in our children, teachers and parents we can create opportunities, bring forth positive change, and build our community to become even stronger.
Renita is honored that the residents have placed their faith and trust in her hands.
